Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. (Psalm 97:11)
Your understanding of your right standing with God will bring guidance and direction to your life. While those who live for the flesh and those who live in fear and guilt will struggle with life’s decisions, light is sown for the righteous. Righteousness is the grace of God to stand in His presence without guilt or fear. It is the knowledge that He lives in us to do us good. It is believing that in spite of our weaknesses, God has chosen us in Him and loves us unconditionally. This peace with God will then guide your life.
The way of the righteous is made plain. (Prov. 15:19)
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. (Prov. 4:18)
The freedom that comes from the revelation of righteousness is profound. God has given us His very nature and that nature clears away confusion and doubt. You can be easily led by the Spirit when you know who you are in Christ. Who you are determines what you do. Circumstances will no longer be lord of your life.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers. (1 Pet. 3:12)
Those who embrace righteousness live in the continual presence of God. Relationship (effective prayer) is a fruit of righteousness. Religious guilt will always hinder our prayer life. Let righteousness guide you.
