Joy!

When is the last time you were joyful? Take some time right now to let God’s love and His Word go to work inside of you. Don’t stop until the joy of the Lord takes over!

“A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Prov. 17:22)

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” (Luke 2:10)

The entrance of Jesus into the world for the sake of redeeming all humanity is a cause for joy!

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” (John 15:11)

The words of Jesus are the source of true joy. The words of men bring fear, doubt and grief.

“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:24)

Jesus promised us prayer power which has as its result…joy!

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” (Rom. 14:17)

Our relationship to the Kingdom and to others in the kingdom is a source of joy. Cultivate relationships that bless you, not drain you.

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.” (Rom. 15:13)

Choosing to believe the Word over your senses and the negativity of the world will fill you with joy.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is… joy.” (Gal. 5:22)

Allowing God’s Spirit to fill you continually will produce joy from deep within. A merry heart does good like a medicine!

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” (Jude 1:24)
